Introduction to the society:

  With the rapid and in-depth development of biomedicine, informatics, Internet, sensors, artificial intelligence and big data, the Bioinformatics Society of Sichuan Province (BISSC) came into being.

 Professor Shen Bairong of West China Hospital of Sichuan University served as the chairman, and Professor Huang Jian of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and Zhou Zhen, General Manager of CLP Health Cloud served as the vice chairman. The society is committed to serving the big health industry and people's livelihoods, integrating multiple disciplines including clinical medicine, cutting-edge bioinformatics medicine, artificial intelligence, and big data. 

The vision, mission, and strategy of the BISSC:

  The society aims to unite, unite, and organize professionals in bioinformatics, life sciences, medicine, computer science, and engineering applications in Sichuan Province, gather resources from various fields and interdisciplinary talents, achieve multi-party cooperation and development, build a communication and cooperation bridge between society members, government and enterprises, promote multi-party exchanges, actively promote the reform and innovation of the society, enhance the governance system and governance capacity construction of the society, achieve innovative development, and strive to lead Sichuan to become the forefront area of national bioinformatics development.
