On the morning of April 21st, the second session of the Sichuan Bioinformatics Society's Hematologic Oncology Clinical Progress Series Lecture and Exchange Meeting was successfully held in Dazhou. The purpose of this meeting was to promote clinical research and academic exchange in the field of hematologic oncology and to foster innovation and development in medical technology.
The head of the Hematologic Oncology Branch, Professor Jia Yongqian, co-hosted this grand event with Professor Yang Lihua and Professor Li Yaqiong from the Dazhou Central Hospital. At the opening ceremony, Deputy Secretary-General Zhou Jueqiao of the Society delivered an enthusiastic speech. She said, "Since its establishment in December last year, the Hematologic Oncology Branch has actively promoted academic exchange and cooperation with a high sense of responsibility and mission, achieving remarkable results. These activities have not only broadened our academic horizons but also provided us with valuable learning opportunities. The academic exchange platform actively built by the branch has promoted the integration of different fields and disciplines, injecting new momentum into the innovative development of the hematologic oncology field."
The first half of the academic meeting was hosted by Professor Li Xiaoming from the Affiliated Hospital of Southwest Medical University. Professor Jia Yongqian from West China Hospital of Sichuan University and Professor Su Yi from the Western Theater Command General Hospital respectively gave academic reports titled "Progress in the Treatment of Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma" and "Application of CAR-T Cell Therapy in Hematologic Diseases." The reports were profound yet accessible, bringing the latest research results and clinical experience to the attendees. Representatives such as Zhang Xu, Xu Ling, Zeng Yan, and Chen Siyan had a heated discussion on the content of the reports, exploring the future development of the hematologic oncology field together.
In the afternoon, the executive chairs of the conference, Yang Lihua and Li Yaqiong, along with the chief participant Jia Yongqian and other experts, went to the Hematology Department of Dazhou Central Hospital. They engaged in a deep clinical frontline academic exchange activity. The team of experts had an in-depth exchange and discussion with the medical staff of the hospital's Hematology Department through on-site visits, case discussions, and technical demonstrations.
During the exchange, the experts shared the latest research findings and diagnostic and treatment technologies in the field of hematology. They provided detailed analysis and guidance on difficult cases encountered by the Hematology Department of Dazhou Central Hospital in clinical practice. They also offered valuable suggestions and opinions on the current state of development of the hospital's Hematology Department.
