【Important Notice】Notice on the 8th International Summit on Translational Medical Informatics and the 2nd Academic Conference of the Sichuan Bioinformatics Society (Third Round)

The Sichuan Bioinformatics Society has decided that the 2nd Academic Conference of the Sichuan Bioinformatics Society will be held from December 24th to 26th, 2021, coinciding with the 8th International Summit on Translational Medical Informatics. Leaders from the Sichuan Provincial Association for Science and Technology will be invited to attend the conference, along with several academicians and experts who will deliver keynote speeches. The conference is guided by the Sichuan Provincial Association for Science and Technology, hosted by the Sichuan Bioinformatics Society, and co-organized by multiple units. The theme of the conference is "Frontiers of Bioinformatics - Artificial Intelligence, Advanced Data, and Smart Health."

VII. Call for Abstracts:

(1) Scope of Abstract Collection:

The conference welcomes a wide range of submissions related to cutting-edge research and innovative work in biomedical information, as well as health science communication. The theme of this conference is "Frontiers of Bioinformatics - Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, and Smart Health."

(2) Requirements for Abstract Submission:

  1. The conference encourages participants to submit abstracts in Chinese with no more than 500 words.

  2. The abstract submission system is open, with the deadline set for December 23, 2021.

  3. When submitting an abstract, please specify the sub-theme it belongs to. We will widely publicize it on the society's new media platform and recommend it to the society's partner magazines.

  4. The conference's academic committee will review the submissions and select awards.

VIII. Continuing Medical Education:

The conference offers provincial Category I and Category II continuing education credits. Category I grants 6 credits, and Category II grants 4 credits. Participants cannot apply for both. Please check the box when registering to indicate whether you need continuing education credits and the category you choose.

Note: For Category I credits, you must swipe your ID card to sign in before 6:00 PM on December 24th and sign out after the conference ends on the 26th (after 5:30 PM), or you will not receive the credits.

  2. The deadline for online registration is December 23, 2021. Note: If you cannot attend after payment, a refund will be made after deducting 100 yuan before December 20th, and no refunds will be made after December 20th.

  3. Invoice collection: Participants should fill in the invoice information when registering, and the conference secretariat will issue electronic invoices.

Note:

(1) Membership fee invoice: The financial invoice will be issued after the conference. Members who need a membership fee invoice should fill in the invoice information and pay attention to the "Sichuan Provincial Department of Finance [Electronic Services] Public Account" to receive the electronic version.

(2) Conference registration fee invoice: A unified value-added tax electronic general invoice will be issued. Participants who need a conference registration fee invoice should fill in the invoice information promptly after payment.

X. Epidemic Prevention and Control Notice:

To ensure the smooth travel of all participants, the following are the notices regarding epidemic prevention and control:

  1. General area representatives must provide health codes, travel codes, and cooperate with the hotel's temperature checks.

  2. Low-risk area representatives must provide health codes, travel codes, and cooperate with the hotel's temperature checks and information collection.

  3. Medium-risk area representatives must stay in designated isolation hotels and provide a 48-hour nucleic acid test certificate.

  4. Representatives with abnormal body temperatures are not allowed to enter the venue and must inform the secretariat in a timely manner.

  5. The secretariat will provide masks for participants, and it is recommended to wear them throughout the conference.

  6. Participants should not go out except for attending the conference activities and must strictly follow the local epidemic prevention requirements if they need to go out. Conference staff should not go out unless necessary.

  7. Pay attention to hand hygiene, and participants should wash their hands with running water before and after eating and using the restroom, or use hand sanitizer or wipes to clean their hands. Do not touch your mouth, eyes, and nose before cleaning your hands, and wash your hands after touching potentially contaminated items.

  8. Pay attention to social etiquette, maintain a social distance of more than 1 meter, do not gather, do not spit indiscriminately, and wrap your nasal and oral secretions in tissue paper and dispose of them in the trash can.
