The Party Branch of the Sichuan Bioinformatics Society, in conjunction with the Leshan City Health and Family Planning Information Center and the (Fund) Society Party Branch, visited the former residence of Guo Moruo in Leshan City on January 30, 2024, and successfully carried out the Party Day activity with the theme of "Exploring Historical Marks, Appreciating the Red Sentiment." The purpose of this activity was to enhance the Party members' patriotic enthusiasm and national pride through visiting revolutionary sites, understanding red culture, and feeling the spirit of the predecessors, thus promoting the mutual advancement of Party building work and professional work.

During the activity, the Party members, led by the guide, visited various exhibition halls and rooms in Guo Moruo's former residence, gaining an in-depth understanding of the life, literary achievements, and ideological journey of Mr. Guo Moruo, a modern Chinese writer, historian, ancient philologist, writer, poet, and playwright. As a scholar in the revolution and a revolutionary in scholarship, Mr. Guo Moruo was diligent in exploration, brave in innovation, and persistent in truth, making an unremitting struggle against adverse environments and habitual forces. His noble image was deeply imprinted in the hearts of every Party member.

In the exhibition, everyone was attracted by precious historical photos and cultural relics, profoundly feeling the original mission of the Communist Party of China and the heroic deeds of the revolutionary martyrs.

In the open-style Party Branch activity room of Shawan District, a discussion and exchange were organized. All Party members, in line with their actual work, carried out discussions on adhering to the original mission, upholding cultural confidence, practicing the revolutionary spirit, and improving work capabilities. They expressed that they would take the spirit of the older generation of revolutionaries as a guide, always firm in their ideals and beliefs, building a political loyalty, living in a prosperous era without failing it, and striving to be at the forefront and work in reality to contribute to the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics.

"I voluntarily join the Communist Party of China, support the program of the Party... and never betray the Party." At the end of the event, all Party members took an oath in front of the Party flag, reviewing the solemn commitment and determination to struggle when they joined the Party, and firming their ideals and beliefs for moving forward.
