On March 25, 2024, the Party Branch of the Sichuan Bioinformatics Society held a Party Branch Member Meeting and a work conference to deeply study and implement the spirit of the 2024 National Two Sessions. The meeting was led by the Deputy Secretary-General of the Society, Zhou Jueqiao, who brought together all Party members and staff of the Secretariat to jointly understand the core essence of the Two Sessions' spirit.

   At the beginning of the meeting, the Party Branch Secretary of the Society, Chen Liqiong, emphasized the importance and urgency of learning and implementing the spirit of the National Two Sessions. She mentioned that the 2024 National Two Sessions were convened at a historically significant moment, the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. The sessions are not only a summary of the work of the past year but also a blueprint for future development. We must profoundly understand the spirit of the National Two Sessions and transform it into practical actions to promote the development of the Society's cause.

   The meeting conducted an in-depth study and interpretation of the spirit of the National Two Sessions. All attendees unanimously believed that the core of the spirit of the Two Sessions lies in adhering to the people-centered development philosophy, promoting high-quality development, and accelerating the construction of a modern economic system. In addition, the Two Sessions also highlighted important deployments in strengthening scientific and technological innovation, deepening reform and opening up, and promoting the construction of an ecological civilization. These spirits are not only guiding principles but also goals for the development of the Society.

Everyone expressed their commitment to integrate the spirit of the National Two Sessions with the practical work of the Society, promoting the in-depth development of all aspects of the Society's work with more enthusiasm and a more solid work style. In addition, many constructive suggestions and opinions were put forward on how to strengthen the Society's own construction, improve service levels, and promote scientific and technological innovation.

   Finally, the meeting made arrangements for the next steps. The Party Branch of the Society requires all Party members and staff to use the spirit of the National Two Sessions as a guide, diligently fulfill their duties, actively take on responsibilities, and contribute to the development of the Society's cause. At the same time, the Society should strengthen communication and collaboration with relevant departments to jointly promote the development and progress of the field of bioinformatics.
