On May 30, 2024, the Party branch of the Sichuan Provincial Bioinformatics Society held a meeting with all committee members and relevant personnel of the society participating. The meeting was chaired by Comrade Li Xiaoyu. The meeting conveyed the spirit of the Party discipline study and education special theoretical centralized study session held by the Party Committee of Sichuan Provincial Association for Science and Technology Social Organization on May 28, 2024. It studied the speech by Secretary Huang Jingyue at the special theoretical centralized study session of the Party discipline study and education class of the Party Committee of Sichuan Provincial Association for Science and Technology Social Organization, learned about Deputy Secretary Chen Jun's "Some Thoughts on Party Building and the Construction of Provincial Society Organizations," and the document "Work Plan for Party Discipline Study and Education by the Party Committee of Sichuan Provincial Association for Science and Technology Social Organization." The society's branch committee members had a heated discussion on the arrangement of Party branch activities and Party member study tasks from June to September, in line with the society's own conditions and the requirements of the higher-level Party committee. The relevant topics are as follows: First, discuss the full text study of the "Disciplinary Punishment Regulations of the Communist Party of China"; Second, the Party branch secretary takes the lead in giving a Party class on Party discipline study and education; Third, discuss how to conduct a special organizational life meeting, and do well in criticism and self-criticism; Fourth, discuss organizing a warning education study and watching a warning education film for the theme Party day activities; Fifth, plan to hold a branch reading month activity, where branch Party members share their reading experiences. Finally, the Party branch secretary pointed out that all branch committee members must think deeply and study carefully, and make good arrangements for the work in the second half of 2024. Only by making every effort to solve the difficulties and problems in Party building work can the Party building work of the society be better and better.
