   From September 20th to 22nd, 2024, the academic annual meeting of the Neurology Branch of Sichuan Province Bioinformatics Society was grandly held in Chengdu!    On the evening of September 20th, the general committee of the Neurology Branch of Sichuan Province Bioinformatics Society was convened. The agenda of the general committee was compact and orderly. The committee members first reviewed the work achievements and lessons learned from the past year, and conducted in-depth discussions on the future development direction and activity plans of the branch. The members actively spoke, proposing many constructive opinions and suggestions.    Subsequently, the meeting entered the important agenda of supplementing the vice-chairman. After full discussion and democratic voting, all members unanimously agreed to supplement Professor Zou Xianwei from the First Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu Medical College as the vice-chairman. Professor Zou Xianwei has outstanding contributions and extensive influence in the field of neurology. Her joining will undoubtedly inject new vitality into the branch and promote the work of the branch to a new level.

   The general committee concluded amidst warm applause.    The next day, the opening of the conference began.
