On November 10th, a symposium themed "Achieving a Dual Circulation of County-Level Medical and Health Alliances" was held at the Sichuan Radio and Television Station's Sichuan Rural Channel. Dr. Chen Bin, Secretary-General of the Sichuan Bioinformatics Society, Professor Su Qiaoli, Deputy Director of the General Practice Department of West China Hospital and President of the Primary Health Care Branch of the Sichuan Bioinformatics Society, Shen Zhenhua, Director of the Sichuan Rural Channel, Deputy Directors Liu Chao and Luo Jun, Producer Dong Yi of the Health Sichuan program, and relevant staff attended the meeting and had in-depth discussions on this topic. Both parties briefly introduced their respective strengths, put forward suggestions for the development and innovation of primary health care, and reached a preliminary strategic cooperation intention.

    The purpose of this symposium is to implement the "Healthy China" and "Healthy Sichuan" development strategies, to build a platform for cooperation and exchange, to strengthen the primary health care network, and to contribute to the overall development of rural revitalization in the field of big health.

    President Su Qiaoli pointed out the need to expand the construction of rural general practitioners, to listen to the demands of the majority of medical staff, to cultivate the practice ability of general practitioners from multiple dimensions and aspects of specificity and universality, and to strengthen the science popularization and training of basic diseases for primary health care workers. At the same time, discard the traditional dry lecture mode, and increase the publicity and education of health knowledge and awareness in rural areas by combining interesting and vivid cases and stories. Proper management of chronic diseases at the forefront is essential, enabling the public to fundamentally change from thought to behavior in terms of health awareness, and allowing patients in remote areas to enjoy high-quality medical services more conveniently, to maintain the "health line" of rural revitalization, and to be the caring guardians of the people's life and health.

    Deputy Director Liu Chao proposed that the Sichuan Rural Channel will form an alliance with the health industry from a "full media perspective," grasp the positioning of primary health care under the medical consortium mechanism, understand the differentiated needs of rural people, and more accurately find the entry point for in-depth cultivation. Under the program layout of "Food also has a method" and "Health also has a way," brand building and project incubation will be carried out, allowing enterprises and medical experts to participate more efficiently. At the same time, relying on commercial forces, the continuity and coherence of program content will be ensured, fully exerting the media's initiative and carrying out publicity and reporting work, to help promote the comprehensive advancement of the rural revitalization strategy in various parts of the province and promote the high-quality development of the big health system.

    Director Shen Zhenhua proposed that what kind of vision the future of rural revitalization will be is a question our team has been thinking about. The Sichuan Rural Channel should not only establish a good contact mechanism with the society and medical experts on the way to build a healthy medical ecological circle, provide a good communication path, but also use the media power to achieve dual social and economic benefits in multiple dimensions, multiple ways, and systematically. It is hoped that the Sichuan Bioinformatics Society can use a more professional perspective and concept to cooperate with the Sichuan TV Station—Rural Channel to build a good operation system, improve the practice ability and credibility of the vast number of rural medical practitioners, so that more rural people can become the ultimate beneficiaries, achieve a dual circulation of the county-level medical and health alliance, and help promote rural revitalization.

    Finally, Secretary-General Chen Bin pointed out that our association is very willing to jointly build the framework with the Sichuan Radio and Television Station's Rural Channel, study sustainable development models, unite and organize professionals in biomedicine, informatics, computer science, and engineering applications, gather resources from all parties and multidisciplinary talents, and achieve multi-party cooperation and development. Give full play to the role of our association as a bridge and bond, promote multi-party exchanges, and contribute to the national strategy of rural revitalization with the strength of scientific and technological community organizations.
