On the sunny day of March 23, the Sichuan Bioinformatics Society, in collaboration with Chengdu Hezi Huaxi Medical Laboratory, successfully held the "Journey of Genetic Science - I am a Little Scientist" genetic popularization parent-child activity. The event aimed to promote in-depth communication between children and parents, strengthen parent-child relationships, and foster a harmonious family atmosphere through cutting-edge genetic popularization knowledge and lectures on multiple intelligences education.

   On the day of the event, the standard laboratory of Hezi Gene was specially opened for the children participating in the activity. The children had the opportunity to get up close and personal with the forefront of genetic technology and experience the charm of genetic research. In the laboratory, children visited advanced experimental equipment and personally participated in some simple experimental operations, such as DNA extraction and cell structure observation. These practical sessions allowed the children to gain a more intuitive and in-depth understanding of genetic science. During the activity, parents and children explored the mysteries of life together, enhancing mutual understanding and trust.

Many parents expressed that through this event, they not only learned a lot about genetics but also gained a deeper understanding of their children's nature and potential, and had clearer plans for future education. We will hold more similar popular science activities in the future to bring joy and harvest to more families and jointly promote the popularization and inheritance of scientific knowledge.
