    With the rapid and in-depth development of computer science and bioinformatics, the Bioinformatics Society of Sichuan Province (BISSC) has been established. To cultivate innovative talents in bioinformatics and serve the majority of BISSC members as well as clinical biological research workers, the society is organizing a series of bioinformatics-related training classes.

    Bioinformatics is one of the significant frontier fields in life sciences and natural sciences today and represents an interdisciplinary field. With the development of high-throughput sequencing technology, a massive amount of multi-omics data has been generated, which has had a significant impact on the field of biomedicine and has become the latest driving force in the field. Life sciences have entered the era of big data, and this emerging discipline of bioinformatics plays an increasingly important role in scientific research and practical applications. The demand for professionals in bioinformatics will also grow larger. This training is aimed at researchers without a background in computer languages who need to engage in bioinformatics-related research work.
