The Sichuan Bioinformatics Society is planning to establish a Youth Working Committee. The society aims to create a distinctive youth scientific research talent training base with continuous appeal through various forms such as academic salons, a series of training, and thematic conferences. It strives to build a first-class team of young backbone members and expand the influence of the Sichuan Bioinformatics Society in Western China and even across the nation.

Sincerely inviting young talents in relevant research fields to join, the society is now selecting Executive Committee Members of the Youth Working Committee throughout the province. The relevant matters are announced as follows:

I. Basic Qualifications for Candidates of the Executive Committee

1. Love for the motherland, upright academic style, strong sense of responsibility, and dedication.

2. Passion for the work of the society, good health, ability to lead and unite a wide range of scientific and technological workers in the profession, and good professional ethics.

3. Members of the Sichuan Bioinformatics Society, support the society's constitution, fulfill the obligations of society members and committee members, and actively support the work of the society.

4. Young workers engaged in research directions such as biomedical, informatics, computer science, and engineering applications or other related professions.

5. Have a certain academic accomplishment and outstanding work performance in their professional field, with a Doctoral Degree or intermediate professional title with more than 5 years of continuous work in the field.

6. Age 45 and under, that is, born on or after January 1, 1977.

II. Selection Process

1. Registered as a member of the Sichuan Bioinformatics Society Youth Committee according to the process.

2. Fill out the "Sichuan Bioinformatics Society Youth Committee Executive Committee Member Application Form" (see attachment), prepare a personal resume, and send it to the email: zhouyisic@163.com.

3. A panel of experts will select candidates based on the application materials.

4. Publicize the list of the Sichuan Bioinformatics Society Youth Committee Executive Committee Members.
