Recently, in order to understand the needs of member units, deepen industry exchanges with member units, jointly plan for the future development of the bioinformatics field, and better serve the majority of members, the Secretariat of the Sichuan Provincial Bioinformatics Society, led by Deputy Secretary-General Zhou Jiaoqiao, has officially launched a series of member unit visit and exchange activities. The purpose of this visit is to further understand the research progress, practical experience, and needs of member units, providing important references for the future work direction and development planning of the society. At the same time, through face-to-face communication, both parties will jointly explore the extensive application and development of bioinformatics, artificial intelligence, medical health, and other fields, and jointly promote industry progress.

   On May 9th, the Secretariat first visited the Tibet Autonomous Region People's Government Office in Chengdu Hospital and had in-depth exchanges with the member unit. The two sides had extensive discussions on the application and development of bioinformatics in the field of medical health, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation.

   On May 21st, the Secretariat went to Leshan People's Hospital and officially visited the vice-chairman unit. Leshan People's Hospital has significant research strength and practical experience in the field of bioinformatics. Members of the Secretariat and hospital experts had in-depth exchanges on issues closely watched by member units such as discipline construction and laboratory construction, and discussed the possibility of cooperation between the two sides.

On June 5th, Deputy Secretary-General Zhou Jiaoqiao led a team to Chengdu University Affiliated Hospital for an official visit to the director unit. During the visit, both parties had in-depth discussions on the latest research progress, scientific achievements, and future cooperation directions in bioinformatics, showing a common concern and expectation for the development of bioinformatics. Through this series of visit activities, the Secretariat of the Sichuan Provincial Bioinformatics Society not only strengthened the connection with member units but also further clarified the future work direction and development planning of the society. The society will continue to adhere to the principles of openness, cooperation, and win-win, and jointly promote the extensive application and development of bioinformatics in the fields of medical health with all member units.
