Sichuan Provincial Bioinformatics Society (BISSC) is dedicated to serving the large health industry and people's livelihoods, integrating clinical medicine, cutting-edge medical informatics, artificial intelligence, and big data from multiple disciplines. The society gathers resources and interdisciplinary talents to achieve multi-party cooperation and development, building a bridge for communication and cooperation between society members, government, and enterprises, and promoting multi-party exchanges.

In response to the national health strategy and to raise public awareness of the dangers of hypertension, on May 17, 2024, World Hypertension Day, the Artificial Intelligence—Cardiology Branch of Sichuan Provincial Bioinformatics Society took proactive action, joining hands with the affiliated hospital of Chengdu University and Jiajiang County People's Hospital to hold a free clinic activity with the theme of "Accurate Measurement, Effective Control, Healthy Longevity" at Jiajiang County People's Hospital.

The event was fully supported by a team of experts. Director He Chuan and Deputy Director Chen Qijun of the affiliated hospital of Chengdu University, along with several other leading authorities in the field of cardiology, and doctors from Jiajiang County People's Hospital, formed a powerful medical team. They worked tirelessly and personally went to the event site to provide professional and meticulous diagnostic and treatment services for the citizens.

At the event site, the experts provided diagnosis and consultation services for hypertension with rigorous attitudes and exquisite skills. They patiently answered citizens' questions and provided personalized prevention and control suggestions for different conditions. At the same time, by setting up a blood pressure measurement area and distributing promotional materials, they popularized the hazards, prevention, and control knowledge of hypertension among the citizens, allowing them to understand the harmfulness of hypertension more deeply and master effective prevention and control methods.

This free clinic activity was not only a successful health service action but also a strong response to the whole society's attention to hypertension issues and the promotion of a healthy China initiative. It fully demonstrated the social responsibility and public spirit of the society and partner units, as well as the high concern for people's health and selfless dedication of medical workers. We will continue to give play to our professional advantages, actively carry out more public welfare activities, and provide more high-quality health services for the public.
