On August 30, 2024, the 7th Executive Board Meeting of the 1st Session of the Sichuan Bioinformatics Society was grandly held in Chengdu. The purpose of this meeting was to thoroughly implement the spirit of the 3rd Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party and the 10th Sichuan Science and Technology Association Representative Conference, and according to the provisions of the society's constitution and the annual work plan, to discuss and plan the future development of the society in-depth.
The meeting officially began with registration at 17:00. Participants arrived at the venue in an orderly manner.
Opening Speech
At 19:00 in the evening, the meeting was officially opened under the chairmanship of Deputy Secretary-General Zhou Jue Qiao. She first warmly welcomed the arrival of all members and briefly introduced the background and purpose of the meeting.

The first agenda of the meeting was to review the expansion of the society's business scope. Deputy Secretary-General Zhou Jue Qiao detailed the necessity and urgency of the additional content, and the participants had a serious discussion and finally reached a consensus.

Financial Officer (side job) Yang Yin reported on the society's employee salary structure standard table and salary adjustment report. She explained in detail the basis and purpose of the salary adjustment, as well as its positive impact on the long-term development of the society.
Review of the Society's Advanced Review Awards and Requirements
Secretary-General Zeng Guojun reviewed the society's advanced review awards and requirements in the third agenda. He emphasized the fairness, transparency, and incentive nature of the review work to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the review work.
Report on the Major Meetings of the Society in the First Half of 2024
Dedicated Secretary Wang Yichuan reported on the major meetings of the society in the first half of 2024 in the fourth agenda. He reviewed the main work and achievements of the first half of the year and looked forward to the future work plan.
Report on the Preparation Work for the Society's Change of Term
Deputy Secretary-General Shi Zheng reported on the preparation work for the society's change of term in the fifth agenda. He introduced in detail the progress of the change of term work and put forward specific suggestions for the next steps.

Finally, President Shen Bairong, as the leader of the society, delivered an important speech.
