Bioinformatics Drives Innovation in Medical Practice
On January 9, 2025, during the 10th Annual Conference of Medical Experts, the Physician Newspaper and the Sichuan Society of Bioinformatics officially signed a cooperation agreement. Both parties announced that they will adhere to the principle of complementary strengths to jointly promote information exchange, academic progress, and professional development in the field of medicine.
The signing ceremony was presided over by Zhang Yanping, Executive Editor-in-Chief of the Physician Newspaper, and Shen Bai Rong, President of the Sichuan Society of Bioinformatics. The agreement was signed by both parties to mark the beginning of a strategic partnership.
Professor Yu Guoqiang from Tsinghua University, Dean Kang Yan from Tianfu Campus of West China Hospital of Sichuan University, Deputy Dean Huang Jian from School of Life Science and Technology of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Director Che Guowei from the Lung Cancer Center of West China Hospital of Sichuan University, and Director Shi Rui from the Information Department of West China Hospital of Sichuan University were present as witnesses to this momentous occasion.
